Nearly 90 percent of children reported having been bullied and 59 percent said they had abused others.
Students completed an anonymous questionnaire about their experience with bullying.

However, the study was not designed to assess bullying in schools.
On a maximum of 24 points on the scale of victimization of bullying, students ‘average score’ was almost 7 points. Out of 20 possible points on the scale of intimidation, the average score was 2 points.
Many elementary school students report being bullied by their peers and bullying other children, a new study.
The survey included 22 statements about bullying, which included emotional and physical bullying.
The study appears in the Journal of Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics.
Some survey statements focused on bullying. These statements included Other students make me cry , I want to stay home from school because students are to me, and I am impressed kicked by other students.
Students checked the box marked very , sometimes or never to indicate how each statement applies to them.
